Spa Skin and Beauty

Apr 21, 2020

Welcome to episode nine of Spa Skin and Beauty podcast formerly known as The Lindsey Holder Podcast! Joining us is Olivia Pelaez of Vital Proteins.

Collagen. What exactly is it? How much do you need? What is it doing for you? Those are just a few questions I wanted to find out and share with you all. It also allowed for me to be able to better educate my clients and my team as we sell collagen in our spa. Specifically, we carry Vital Proteins. So, of course, I wanted to go directly to the brand itself and find out these answers.

That led me to connect with Olivia Peleaz.

Olivia is the Education Coordinator for Vital Proteins and is a self-proclaimed 'nutrition junkie' who believes whole-heartedly that food is medicine. She received her Bachelor's of Science with Honors in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Western Ontario and her Masters in Functional Medicine and Human Nutrition from the University of Western States. She has been with Vital Proteins since 2018 and she is super passionate about educating people on the benefits of collagen.

Let’s step inside the world of Collagen, Peptides and health with Vital Proteins as we learn more about what collagen can do for you, the benefits and more about the brand itself.

Show Highlights:

  • How Vital Proteins got started.
  • What makes VP different from other brands?

Olivia’s favorite way to use Vital Proteins:

“Adding our Coconut Creamer into my morning coffee as a dairy-free creamer alternative. So it's just our collagen peptides and organic coconut milk powder and it adds the perfect creaminess to my morning coffee! I also LOVE to mix the coconut creamer with our Matcha Collagen for an afternoon matcha latte pick-me-up. “
